Episode One: Limiting Beliefs

Our personal internal thoughts are the engine that drive so much of what we do and the impact we have on the world. Too often speakers hold themselves back from a beautiful future and ultimate career success because what they tell themselves stifles their growth.
In this episode, I break down some very common negative beliefs and thoughts that speakers share, why they’re so damaging and how you can breakthrough those beliefs and thoughts that are holding you back.
Episode Two: Speaking Misconceptions

Everyday I meet professionals who hold certain beliefs about public speaking and communication that are not only incorrect, but they’re incredibly damaging. These misconceptions get in our way when we want to connect meaningfully with the audience and have an important impact on their lives or actions.
In this podcast I call out a set of these misconceptions and a central theme that connect them all – mindset. By digging into the core of these misconceptions, we can start to open ourselves up to more confidence in our speaking and a more meaningful connection with our message and audience.
Episode Three: Fear of Vulnerability

The fear of being vulnerable, in your everyday relationships but especially as a speaker, is often a course of considerable anxiety. Most of the people who confess public speaking fears to me have some level of fear of being vulnerable lurking underneath. This anxiety might stem from a painful past experience or just discomfort with being judged harshly or unfairly.
In this episode I discuss why fear of vulnerability can fuel public speaking anxiety and some ways you can over come this central cause. By digging into this underlying challenge for authentic speaking and genuine connection with the audience, you can bloom as a speaker. When you are no longer held hostage by unwillingness to be vulnerable as a speaker, you’ll find Presenting Well comes easier than you ever imagined.
